Our Mission
Peer Rooted exists to help people, teams, and organizations put dignity into practice. We bring peer values, lived experience, and organizational leadership together to strengthen services, develop the workforce, and expand access to support that honors each person’s voice, culture, and choices.
Our Vision
We envision communities where every person can access support that respects their culture, honors their choices, and recognizes their strengths. Rooted in the peer model, we want lived experience, dignity, and connection to shape every person we support, every organization we partner with, and every community we serve.
Our Values
Growth and accountability. We welcome feedback, strengthen our practice, and take responsibility for the effect of our work.
Dignity and respect. We see the whole person and treat people with care, regardless of their circumstances or diagnosis.
Voice and choice. People have a meaningful say in the services, goals, and decisions that affect their lives.
Lived experience. We recognize experience as valuable knowledge that belongs in peer practice, leadership, and program design.
Connection and mutuality. We build trust through listening, clear roles, and relationships grounded in shared respect.
Cultural humility. We keep learning from the people and communities we serve and shape our work with their perspectives in mind.
Safety and care. We put trauma informed principles into practice through consistency, transparency, and attention to how people experience support.
